Creek side seating with cold beers, great burgers, BBQ and yep it's dog friendly too. One of the best spots in town on a warm day to get your outdoor fix with a cold drink and to meet up with friends.

Labor Day Weekend (Saturday) at the Medicine Park Mayor's Blues Ball Festival for the first time. First of all lucked up on the ideal parking spot, parked and started looking for a good place to eat. My wife and I came upon this small burger and BBQ joint with a sign advertising $2 ice cold beers sold here. That's all I needed to take a seat. I ordered the specialty burger and chips. Beef patty was breaded and deep fried served in a hard crusted bun with lettuce, tomato, sliced jalapenos with a chipotle mayo sauce. AWESOME. Wife got the Rib Eye sandwich and fries. Looked great, she said it was great. Very satisfied and recommend a stop there. Oh yeah, the $2 beer cheapest at fest. That's a win win

We travel to Medicine Park several time a year and make it a point to stop in and enjoy the unique taste that is Bullets Burgers and BBQ. Service is fast and the BBQ is always hot and tasty.

First off up front, the owner and me have known each other for years as he is a retired Army Veteran and we spent time together in Afghanistan. Which is why he knows if his product sucked I would let him know. Well, it doesn't. I may not have eaten at the best BBQ places on Gods Green Earth as some other reviewer says but I am here to tell you the food here is GREAT. I took my twenty year old daughter here for a daddy daughter meal. Both of us were highly impressed. The setting of the restaurant next to the creek is awesome. Chas personally smokes all the meat and is busy late at night getting the goods ready for the next day. This is a local business owned by a veteran couple, adding to the economic recovery of the area. I will gladly go back. Maybe if I get the time I will try those other "best BBQ in the country places".

You simply cannot beat the level of customer service, the $2-3 beers (with the largest selection you'll find in town!) and a variety of BBQ items on the menu. The brisket is tender with great flavor. Chicken manages to stay moist, fries are cooked to order (no old cold fries here!) and their homemade BBQ sauce is delicious!! I loved the atmosphere - live music during the non-winter months, and a beautiful view of Medicine Creek - but heated indoor seating for the winter months. Situated smack dab in the middle of Cobblestone Row, the location is also perfect to enjoy during festival season. Stop in and tell Chas "hey!" The owner is friendly and personable, and truly cares about giving you a great overall dining experience. I'm from KC, so I know good BBQ - and the previous (and only) negative review is a far cry from what the actual experience at Bullets really is. Sounds like a disgruntled person who didn't get their way, and if they tried every meat on the menu (at least 6) they sure gave up a lot of their time and money to write such a negative review...I'd take that with a grain of "salty" salt.

I've had the best BBQ in the country (Pappy's, Bogart's, Whole Hog Cafe, Salt Lick, etc). I've also had the worst (it was found in Oklahoma). This place isn't the worst. But, it's the second-worst. I tried every meat on the menu and they were all "smoked" way ahead of time. It didn't taste of smoke though. I'd say chances are that's because it was sliced and warmed back up on a flat-top grill. I could see the fry marks on the pork loin, ribs, chicken and sausage. The sides I had - fries, beans, slaw - were all just standard food service garbage. Seriously terrible food. There are better options relatively close by.
